WTB Product of the Week
Year 2006

Year 2006 the team 'Alaska Waste' was introduced to the Anchorage Road Cycling scene. Quickly gaining popularity, elite athletes like Darren Mattingly, Andy Denow & Peter Morris were seen causing all type of commotion in their green and yellow uniform. Evan Hyde (feature above) helped assembled the foundation for our team.

Thank you for taking time to review our team website. We are a non-profit group determined to promote cycling as a sport and a way of life in Alaska.
2006 marked our inaugural season as an official team in Anchorage, AK. As the team approaches year 2007, our aspirations include to expand the level of community involvement in local athletic programs in order support athletes competing in Regional, National & International eventsfor Alaska.
Our Vision
Our vision is to grow and strengthen the active community in Anchorage by getting people involved in local and regional athletic activities, while building teamwork. The team includes members of all ages and abilities, from young beginners to seasoned experts. We compete in Alaska’s top bicycle races every year, generating a greater interest in the sport.
